RULES & REGULATIONS
 
  • School commences at 09:15 hrs and closes at 15:30 hrs on all working days. Each working day consists of eight periods (approximately forty minutes each) with two breaks, and one for lunch.
  • Students are expected to be in full school uniform on all working days.

  • Students interested in joining extra-curricular activities, need to inform the Principal/Vice Principal, accordingly, in writing.
  • Students are not allowed to leave the school premises without the written permission of the class teacher and Principal/Vice Principal.
  • No student will be allowed to enter the class rooms, library or staff-room after school hours.
  • All students are expected to reach the school premises by 08:55 hrs on all working days.
  • Assembly will be held on all working days and will stand cancelled for a particular day after prior intimation.
  • Students are expected to take care of their personal belongings (note books, stationery, bags, snack boxes, water bottles, watches, calculators, dictionaries, play things etc.). The school will not undertake the responsibility for loss of these items. Students should note that they will not be able to play with their personal toys/play things without the permission of the teacher concerned.
  •  
  • Chewing gum and bubble gum are not allowed within the school premises.
  • Students are responsible for the neatness and upkeep of the class room. Students are advised to avoid using cello-tape on walls.
  •  
  • Students are strictly prohibited from using cell phones within the school premises, during working hours. Students are allowed to carry and use their cell phones only on weekends and school holidays.
  • Notebooks should be neatly covered (with brown paper) and labeled..
  • Books borrowed from the library are to be returned within a period of fifteen days. Books not returned within the specified time, need to be produced before the staff in charge of the library and renewed for a further period of fifteen days.
  • The cost of books found damaged on return will be charged to the respective student.
  •  
    Outings:
    the school permits outings on either second or fourth Saturdays of the month.
     
    Phone call timings:
  • Students can receive calls from their parents or guardians only between 16:00 and 18:00 hours on all Thursdays and Sundays.
  • Students are allowed to make calls (on payment of Rs.2/- per call) to their parents or guardians between 16:00 and 18:00 hours on all Thursdays.
  •  
    Swimming timings:
    Students are allowed to swim as per the school schedule; apart from this schedule, dorm students are allowed to swim on all Sundays between 15:30 hours and 17:30 hours.
    Entry And Exit Timings For Dorm Students
    Students are allowed to leave the premises not earlier than 15:30 hours on the last working day of the week and return to school either on the day the school reopens (after any break or weekend) before 09:00 hours or the previous day, not later than 18:00 hours.

    Non-Working Hours Boys and girls are allowed to dress in their personal clothing during non-working hours. The clothes worn by both sexes should not be revealing.
    Boys- Items of clothing not allowed Boxer shorts, skin-tight shorts and very skimpy shorts.
    Girls- Items of clothing not allowed Spaghetti strap tops, mini-skirts, any other skimpy clothing.
     
    Note:
  • Students are not allowed to dye their hair any colour other than black or brown.
  • Boys are expected to have a short hair cut; they are not allowed to have pigtails or any kind of disorderly hair-style.
  • Girls are expected to have their long hair tied up or in plaits.

    Regulations
  • Students are expected to adhere to the timings for prep, meals, outings etc. at all times.
  • Ragging or harassing of any sort is strictly prohibited on the campus.
  • Smoking, sniffing of glue, usage of alcoholic drinks and any other narcotic substance is strictly prohibited on the campus.
  • Students are required to take care of all their personal belongings. The school takes no responsibility for any loss.
  •  
  • Students are expected to keep their rooms and its environs neat and tidy.
  • Students are not allowed to change the position of furniture and equipment in the school and dorms without the permission of the dorm parent.
  •  
  • Clothes for washing are to be placed on the step in front of the dorm on specified days, no later than 8 a.m.
  • The movement of students is restricted to their respective dorms. Students found in unauthorized areas will be questioned and appropriate action will be taken.
  • Students are not allowed to visit the dorm during school hours for any purpose.
  • Students are not allowed near the swimming pool/boating area at unauthorized times.
  • No student will be allowed to enter the class rooms, library or staff-room after school hours.
  • Students are requested not to use glue or tape to stick posters etc. on walls, cupboards etc.
  • Any damage caused to the furniture, building or equipment provided will be charged to the respective students.
  • Students are allowed to switch on the Air conditioners as per the following schedule. Students are not allowed to use the ACs at times, other than those specified. Students found violating this particular rule will be asked to pay a fine of Rs. 100/- per offence, after two written warnings from the Dorm parent.

  • Students must deposit their pocket money with the dorm parent who will maintain a proper account of the same. Money found in person will be termed as black money and its possession will be treated seriously.
  • Students are requested to inform the dorm parents at the earliest about the non-functioning of any school owned equipment/gadget. The students should not attempt to repair any school owned equipment/gadget on their own.
  • Students are allowed to order food from outside the campus on the last Saturday of the month. The kitchen will remain closed on such days.
  • Students are requested to be in constant touch with their respective dorm parents. They need to follow the instructions of the dorm parents at all times.
